Dude's Beetle is a mostly home built VW engined drag race car which races in the Volkswagen Drag Racing Club's (VWDRC) pro class. Despite its little car status, the car is no slouch! And completes the quarter of a mile in a personal best time of 11.82 at 115mph!

The man behind the machine is Dude, a self confessed Volkswagen obsessive! Dude has been racing in the VWDRC for the last 4 years, and in the 2007 season he achieved his best ever placing of runners up!
