Runners up in Pro for Dude in 2007 Season! - 30th September 2007.

After a long year of many missed gears, I managed to get runners up in Pro!

Although the relatively poor turn out in pro this year helped, I had manage to qualify well throughout the year, and this, including my Easter Thunderball win pretty much meant that nobody could catch me for 2nd spot following Bug Jam. However, getting knocked out in the semis at this event also meant that Glen had enough points to seal the championship win for himself, and I was unable to catch him. Congratulations to Glen for wining for the 3rd consecutive year in a row!

Dude comes runners up at Summer Nationals! - 17th July 2007.

After beating Jason Aldred in the semi finals Dude again meet his arch enemy Glynn Morgan in the finals, who went through to the final from a bye. Although Dude cut a better light, he was chased down at the top end by Glynn, leaving dude to the runners up spot! No complaint though as it was my first trophy this season!!

Broken Gearbox(s) - 29th April 2007.

Broken gearboxes in garage

Doh! After my win at Easter Thunderball, Big Bang was a different story!

Following a good launch, I went for second gear only to hear a horrid crunching noise! Initially I thought I'd simply missed a gear again. However, the car refused to go into second, and I was forced to pull over to the side of the track and be towed of by the marshals. Further investigation showed that second could not be found, and thus I was out of the competition for that round, with the gearbox having to go back to Paul at BEARS Motorsport.

UPDATE: After further investigation Paul found out that it was just a bent shift fork, and managed to get it all sorted for me by Big Bang! Cheers Paul you're a legend!

Despite many missed gears, I managed to somehow win Easter Thunderball! This meant that, not only did I get my first trophy (see the grin!) but it put me in the lead of the VW Pro Championship!

During qualifying Stretch sadly broke his gearbox, which allowed me a bye into the Final with Glen, who red lit (luckily for me as I missed 2 and 3 gear!). The meeting did however allow me to get to grips with the rebuilt car (specifically the gearbox), which is now putting out 175bhp at the wheels.
